Saturday School

A weekend program in which children learn Arabic, Quran, and Islamic studies while interacting and developing relationships with other Muslim children in a supervised environment.

Welcome back to IAGM’s Saturday School Program!

Children attending Saturday School will be divided into two levels. Level 1 is meant
to build a foundation for your child’s Arabic and Quranic literacy. Level 2 is designed
to build on an already established foundation. There will be an ungraded test on the
first day to correctly place your child in the level that best suits her/him.  Three
courses are taught at each level: Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies.

The schedule for each day will be

  • 9:30 AM Assembly/Daily Adhkaar/Activity

  • 10:00 AM Arabic class

  • 10:30 AM Snack time (for children ages 5-6)

  • 10:45 AM Quran class

  • 11:30 AM Recess/Lunch

  • 12:15 AM Islamic Studies

  • 1:00 PM Dhuhur prayer/dismissal

Please note that we will be unable to provide lunch & snacks unless otherwise stated
by your child’s teacher. We ask that you send your kids to school with a packed lunch.
